The difference between representational, abstract, and non objective photography is that they all tell different stories using other colors, shades, darkness, and making them all seem different but unique. My first picture is representational. If you look at it it might look like a volcano. But in reality it is the sun casting a glare off of the ocean. The second picture is abstract because you can still tell what it is, but you can also use your imagination. The last picture is the non objective. You can easily see and tell what it is but it would be hard to figure out the true meaning behind it. This relates to my photo series because the first and second picture is of the ocean and water, and i love the ocean. The last picture is of nature because it is always nice to capture.
I picked these places to take pictures of the lizard because I wanted it to look more natural. It was in a tree, hanging, on the ground. Some places where you would not see a lizard would be on the back of the truck, with an epipen, or even flying in the air.
These pictures were taking with a D-SLR camera. The shutter was left on while the drawing took place.
The Elements of Art are considered the building blocks or ingredients of art. They are what the artist has to work with: Line,Shape,Form,Color,Value,Texture,Space.
The principle of Design are what we use to organize the Elements, the tools to make art. Such as rhythm,movement,pattern/repetition,variety,balance/symmetry,emphasis,proportion,contrast. I chose my dog Henley as my favorite thing because he is so cute and a big part of my life. I took all of these photos from a front angle and a side angle at eye level. I used a DSLR camera for all except the first picture . The first picture I took was with an iPhone 6s. I uploaded my images by plugging my camera into a computer. Then I emailed the pictures that I wanted to myself, then downloaded then onto google photos. Then I downloaded the files on the desktop and inserted them into the website.
